Director Jay Jennings is a graduate of Beverly Hills High School who learned the craft of filmmaking by working as a production assistant on many studio features while attending Columbia College Hollywood and the Hollywood Film Institute.

Jennings' earliest foray into the world of filmmaking began in high school, shooting Super-8 movies with classmate Nicolas Cage. Jennings' debut feature, "Loanshark" (1999), was a film festival favorite and his follow up, "Hell to Pay" (2014) is yet another homage to "Bad Lieutenant."

A big fan of 1950s black-and-white film noir and 1970s crime dramas, Jennings' own cinematic style pays homage to both genres in subtle, yet memorable ways. A slate of new film projects are underway for 2015 and beyond.
